Safety, as in “Safety Automation” which maximizes operator safety and protects the systems in which it operates, is one of the fundamental drivers for the development of Pneumax products. Our customers’ need to control rather than be controlled by technological processes and automation is what led to the design of valves and systems such as the Airplus Safeline valves: velectropneumatically actuated supply and discharge valves with spring return which are equipped with a valve status diagnostics system and safety and redundancy functions and are certified and compatible with ATEX environments. In their double version, the valves are classified as CATEGORY 4 components to ISO EN 13849 which are suitable for use in safety circuits up to performance level “e”.
