09 • AW ELECTRIC ACTUATION Following the acquisition of AutomationWare, Pneumax presented not only its product range, but also the expertise now integrated into the Group. Three demos showcased the company’s design approach: a hexapod with six interpolated electric cylinders for high-precision movements; a SCARA system with fast, flexible slides; and a pick & place gantry combining electric axes for the XY plane, an electric cylinder for the Z axis, and a pneumatic gripping system, demonstrating the ability to implement different technologies in a single solution. • AIRPLUS DIGITAL FLOW SENSOR The new compressed air flow meter Airplus Series allows real-time monitoring of flow, pressure, temperature and consumption. The demo used at SPS included a working circuit built with Airplus units that integrated various modules, including flow meters, Safeline safety valves, and two Optyma-S EVO solenoid valve manifolds. All of this was managed via a touchscreen to simulate different operating conditions in real time and interfaced with a digital twin of a complete machine: a concrete example of how intelligent monitoring generates value. • E-RANGE FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR Electric devices for clamping and locating sheet metal in Body in White processes (BIW). The demo, created in collaboration with MagSwitch and MURR (VarioX control and supply unit), highlighted the integration of Pneumax solutions into complex, high-tech equipment and the importance of condition monitoring functions for managing the production cycle. The application also highlighted the features related to safety aspects, the compact design and the possibility of simplifying wiring by eliminating dedicated cabinets. • EVO SOLENOID VALVES WITH PX ELECTRONICS The EVO range of solenoid valves is designed to combine reliability and flexibility in control systems; they can be interfaced with all major industrial protocols and are equipped with digital and analogue I/O. Displaying all the variants in SPS made it possible to clarify the concept behind the EVO project: the creation of a complete ecosystem for the control and optimization of pneumatic circuits, with products characterized by different performance and mechanical parameters but with a common and scalable management logic. 03 PNEUMAX WILL PRESENT THESE AND OTHER SOLUTIONS AT SPS NUREMBERG, NOVEMBER 25 - 27
