The consolidation strategy of the Pneumax Group is progressing, with the acquisition of 100% of Air Pneumatic Center, a historic company in the Italian industrial automation panorama based in Santarcangelo di Romagna. Founded in 1984 under the name of ‘Pneumatica Industriale’, later to become ‘Air Pneumatic Center’ in 1994, the company has from the outset enjoyed close collaboration with Pneumax, first as a distributor and then as a subsidiary. The evolution of the strategic partnership between Pneumax and APC has led to the gradual integration of the company within the Group and at the same time to the maintenance of the management board, starting with managing director Sauro Sapignoli, who will maintain the direction of APC with the aim of giving continuity to existing projects and strategies and developing new opportunities with the parent company.
With the integration of APC srl, the Pneumax Group further strengthens its presence in Emilia-Romagna, an area characterised by the presence of a particularly significant industrial fabric for Italian automation, with internationally leading companies in sectors such as wood, packaging, automotive and food, to name but a few.
