elettrovalvole safeline

Solenoid valves Pneumax Safeline

Safeline is the Pneumax new range of components with safety functions which includes the 412/2 Compact Series and the 1000 ISO 5599/1 Series.

These solenoid valves have been developed with new, adapted characteristics for inclusion in secure, pneumatic circuits where it is necessary to interrupt the air supply and discharge the pneumatic system when the electropneumatic command is de-energised.

Series 412/2 G1/2” is a 3-way solenoid valve with a balanced spool switching system and has two positions, normally closed, “3/2 N.C, The drive controI is electro-pneumatic type entrusted to the micro S.V. 15mm of the 300 series, while the repositioning is provided by a spring-return system.

Series 1000 (ISO 1, ISO 2, ISO 3) is 5-way solenoid valve with balanced spool switching system, and has two positions, “5/2”. The drive controI is electro-pneumatic type entrusted to the micro S.V. CNOMO of the 300 series, while the repositioning is provided by a spring-return system. It is also possible to operate the electro-operator by combining the electric drive with a monostable manual control.

IP Rating, “with connector installed” for both series is IP65.

The air necessary far the correct functioning of the electro-operator can be supplied in two different ways:

  • Self-feeding (directly from the conducted supply of the valve);
  • External-feding (indirectly from a conducted supply exterior to the valve)
    The new feature in this version is the introduction of a diagnostic system able to monitor the ON/OFF state of the valve, with the possibility of increasing the reliability of the system with a double redundant channel configured on a base far the management of the pneumatic connections.

The state of the valve is constantly monitored by a diagnostic system realized using a Hall effect sensor “available in the standard version with a 2,5m, threewires cable” which reads the position of the spool and consequently the ON/OFF state:

  • Sensor is in the ON position when the valve is at rest;
  • Sensor is in the OFF position when the valve is activated

The SAFELINE supply and discharge valve in the single version is a classified component in CATEGORY 1 according to ISO EN 13849 and is appropriate for use in safety circuits until PL=C, while in the double version is a classified component in CATEGORY 4 according to EN ISO 13849 and is appropriate for use in safety circuits until PL=E.
